Network
Depending on the technology (GSM
or TDMA) used, the descriptions of
individual functions may vary.
§Menu§ Setup Network
select a function:

Network info
The list of networks currently
available is displayed.

Indicates forbidden
service providers.
Choose network
A network search is initiated. This is
useful if you are away from your
home network or wish to register in
a different
network. The network
information list is rebuilt.
Preferred network
The backup service providers
you prefer if your home service
provider’s network is not currently
available.
When this function is activated,
your home service provider is
displayed first.
§List§ Display list of preferred
networks. You can edit
this as required:
Create a new entry:
Empty Select Entry then scroll
to a name in the list of
the service providers and
select it. (Your new
choice will appear in the
preferred list.)
Change or delete an existing entry:
[provider]

Options

Delete
to delete it, or select
Change
and scroll to
another name from the
list of service providers
