Searching for a Particular First Letter

Press SEARCH.
The LCD asks you to press
or ,or to choose a
letter by pressing a
P R E S S V ,
∧
, A - Z
number button.

Press the number button
labeled with the letter you
want to search for.
The first name found
beginning with the letter
appears on the LCD.

If the name appearing in
the LCD is not the name
you want, press to
display the next name in
the list or to display the
previous name.

When the name you want
appears in the LCD, press
START/COPY to dial the
number.
For example, to find the name
“SAMSUNG,” press the “7” button,
which is labeled with “PQRS”.
If a document is loaded in the
document tray, the machine
automatically begins to transmit when
the remote fax machine answers the
phone.
Or, if no document is loaded, your
machine will make a phone call. When
the person you are calling answers, pick
up the handset.
