Changing the AM tuning interval (CFD-W57 only)
If you need to change the AM tuning interval (preset
to 9 kHz at the factory), do the following:
1 Disconnect the AC power cord from the player.
Keep the cord connected to the wall outlet.
2 Take out all of the batteries from the battery
compartment, including the back-up batteries.
3 Press POWER.
All of the indications disappear from the display.
4 While holding down BAND and PLAY MODE•
MONO/ST ISS, connect the AC power cord to the
player.
5 Insert the back-up batteries.
After changing the tuning interval, you need to reset
your preset radio stations.

Insert two R6 (size AA) batteries (not supplied)
Replacing batteries
With normal use, the batteries should last for about six
months. When the remote no longer operates the
player, replace all the batteries with new ones.
