Installing CLIE add-on applications
You can install Memory Stick Export, a PC tool to save an application
onto the proper directory in the “Memory Stick” media, and Memory
Stick Import, an add-on application for your CLIE handheld, onto your
computer. Memory Stick Import is installed onto your CLIE handheld
at the next HotSync
® operation. For details, see “Installing add-on
applications from the Palm ™ Desktop for CLIE software” on page 50.

Insert the Installation CD-ROM into your computer’s
CD-ROM drive.
The installation launcher window is displayed.

Click Install CLIE Add-on Software.
The CLIE Add-on Software installation window is displayed.

Click Install Memory Stick Import/Export.
The software installation starts. Follow the instructions onscreen to
finish the installation.
Installing AvantGo ® and other entertainment applications
AvantGo Client, an add-on application for your CLIE handheld, is a
Web browser that allows you to easily access to the AvantGo Server
site and to find and upgrade contents and applications on your CLIE
handheld.
You can install AvantGo or other add-on applications onto your
computer and then install them onto your CLIE handheld at the next
HotSync
® operation. For details, see “Installing add-on applications
from the Palm ™ Desktop for CLIE software” on page 50.
