PLayING a DISc

Push a disc into the DISc IN with the disc’s label facing up.

Using the touch keypad

In normal operation mode (the touch keypad is bright), you can simply press a touch key
once to instruct the Blu-ray Disc Player to perform the corresponding operation.
If no manipulation or input is made for about 30 seconds after the Blu-ray Disc Player turns
on, it switches to Dimmer mode.
In Dimmer mode, you should press the same key twice to instruct the player to perform the
corresponding operation. (If you press a touch key only once in Dimmer mode, the Blu-ray
Disc Player does not perform the corresponding operation and just returns to normal mode.)

When you stop disc play, the player remembers where you stopped, so when you press the

PLAY button

again, it will pick up where you left off. This is called the "Resume" function.
With some BD discs(BD-J), this function may not work.
Press the

STOP button twice during playback to disable the Resume function.

To pause the playback, press the

PAUSE button during playback.

To resume, press the

PLAY button.

SeTTING THe SouND

Setting the Power on / off Melody Sound

A Melody sound can be set so it is heard each time you turn the player on or off.

With the unit in Stop mode, press the MeNu button.
Press the eNTer or ► button.
Press the ▲% buttons to select Setup, then press the
eNTer or ► button.
Press the ▲% buttons to select System, then press the
eNTer or ► button.
Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Power on/off sound,
then press the eNTer or ► button.
Press the ▲% buttons to select on or off, then press the eNTer or ► button.
Press the MeNu button to exit the setup menu.

Setting the Touch key Sound on / off

You can set the player so a sound is heard each time a button is pressed on the top panel of the unit.
To setup, follow steps 1 through 4 above.

Press the ▲% buttons to select Touch key Sound,
then press the eNTer or ► button.
Press the ▲% buttons to select on or off, then press
the eNTer or ► button.
Press the MeNu button to exit the setup menu.
