RS232 Mode
When RS232 Mode is turned On, the Tuner accepts control via the RS-232 port .
When the Tuner is in RS232 mode, the display will show “232” in the lower-right
corner and most of the buttons on the Tuner and remote control will be disabled .
The MENU button which can be used to turn the RS232 mode Off . (Refer to
“RS-232 Communications Port Information” on page 26 for more information about
RS232 Mode) .
To Turn On the RS232 Mode:
3 Select RS232 Mode from the
menu options .
4 Select On .
5 Press ENTER to place the Tuner
into RS232 mode .
If there is no RS232 connection, or there
is a problem with the RS-232 connection,
the screen will display “Check RS232
Connection” . (Figure 20)
