Turns the TV on and off.

Press to select channels directly
on the TV.

Press to select channels over 100.
For example, to select
channel 121, press “+100,” then
press “2” and “1.”

Digital
Press to switch the TV, COMPO-
NENT1, 2, or DIGITAL mode.

(Channel Up/Down)
Press CH▲ or CH▼ to change
channels (Also used to highlight
selections on the on-screen
menus).

Press to increase or decrease the
volume (Also used to make selec-
tions on the on-screen menus).

Press to temporarily cut off
the sound.

Press to select Equalizer menu

Press to change the screen size.

Zoom2 or Wide screen.

Adjust the TV picture by selecting
one of the preset factory settings
(or select your personal, cus-

Adjust the TV sound by selecting
one of the preset factory settings
(or select your personal, cus-
tomized sound settings).

Selects a target device to be con-
trolled by the Samsung remote
control (i.e., TV, VCR, Cable box, or
DVD).
Ô Pre-CH
Tunes to the previous channel.
 TV/Video
Press to display all of the available
video sources (i.e., AV1, AV2, AV3,
S-VIDEO).
Ò Menu
Displays the main on-screen
menu.
Ú Still(Main)
Press to stop the action during a
particular scene. Press again to
resume normal video.
Note: The still function doesn’t
operate in Component 1, 2 mode.
Æ PIP
Press this button to control the PIP
window.
ı BBE
A Sound related function that
operates the treble, bass, and
boost the function based to 650dB
standards and reverses the phase
to produce replicated sound that is
close to the original sound.

Television Stereo)
Press to choose stereo, mono or
Separate Audio Program (SAP
broadcast).
