This part explains how to play back 1) files

recorded on the loaded disc, and 2) files recorded

on a USB mass storage class device (hereinafter

referred to as “USB device”) connected to the main

unit. The operations are explained with a display of

MP3 files as an example.

NOTE
• Also refer to “Notes on files recorded on a con-

nected USB device” on page 51.

• When files of different types (audio/still picture/

video) are recorded on a loaded disc or con-

nected USB device, select the file type before

playback. (Refer to “Selecting the file type” on

page 20.)

(To play back files on a disc)

Place a disc on the disc tray.

• Refer to steps 1 and 2 on page 18.
(To play back files on a USB device)

Connect the USB device.

NOTE
• You cannot connect a computer to the [USB

REC/PLAY] terminal of the system.

• You cannot connect a JVC Everio camcorder to

the [USB REC/PLAY] terminal of the system.

• When connecting with a USB cable, use the

USB 2.0 cable whose length is less than 1 m.

• Before connecting or disconnecting a USB

device, press [VOLUME ] repeatedly to set the
volume of this system to the minimum. You can
also use the [VOL –] control on the main unit.

(To play back files on a disc)

Press [DVD/CD 6].

(To play back files on a USB device)

Press [USB 6].

Press 7 to stop playback.

• The menu screen appears on the TV

screen.
