Skipping TV Commercials During
Playback
To enjoy recorded programmes without any
interruptions, press [
].

During playback, press [ ].
Normal playback will start 30-second advanced
point from the point at which you press [
].
Each time you press [ ], the start point will
move another 30 seconds forward and playback
resume automatically.
You can press [
] up to 6 times (180 seconds.)
Pause

During playback, press [PAUSE p].
Playback will pause with the sound muted.

Press [PLAY P] to resume playback.
For JPEG files, playback will start from the
beginning of the track.
Step by Step Playback

During playback, press [PAUSE p].

Press [ B / F] repeatedly.
Each time you press [ F], playback will go
forward one frame (or step) at a time with the
sound muted.
To go backward one frame (or step), press
[
B].
Press and hold [ F] to continue going forward.
To continue going backward, press and hold
[
B].

Press [PLAY P] to resume playback.
Note
• Only step by step forward is available when playing
back Video CDs.
Slow Forward / Slow Reverse
Playback
1 During playback, press [PAUSE p],
then press [SLOW ] or [SLOW ].
Each time you press [SLOW ] or [SLOW ],
the approximate speed change as follows. (The
sound will remain muted.)
To return to normal playback, press [PLAY P].
