sPeaKer PlaCemenT ConsiDeraTions
Inmostcases,yourspeakerswillbeplacedinto
factoryspeakerlocations.Ifyouhavesomespeaker
mountingflexibility,keepthefollowinginmind:
Lowermountinglocations,suchasthelowerfront
cornerofadoororakick-panelprovidethegreatest
pathlengthdistancesforthesoundemittedbythe
speakers.Forthisreason,theyaregenerallymore
desirablethanhighermountinglocations.Higher
mountinglocationswillusuallyresultinextreme
near-sidesoundstagebiaswhichcompromisesthe
stereolisteningexperience.
