The camera can record a maximum of 20 seconds of video. The size of the recorded video file is approxi-
mately 200 KB. This feature is useful if you want to send a short video by e-mail.
1 Turn the Power dial to “V”.
•Hold the Lock button down while turning the
Power dial.
•“VIDEO” appears on the LCD panel.
•To display the image on the LCD screen
while shooting, press the DISPLAY button.
2 Press the Shutter button all the way to shoot
the video.
•The flash standby lamp (red) lights during the
video shooting.
•Video shooting will stop automatically after
about 20 seconds.
•“NOW RECORDING” appears on the LCD
screen. This may take several minutes.
3 Press the Shutter button again to stop the
video shooting before 20 seconds are up.
•While the video file is stored in the Memory
card, the flash standby lamp (red) flashes,
and then goes off when the recording has
finished. Do not operate the camera while
the light flashes.
NOTES:
● Sound is also recorded.
● It is not possible to use the flash for video
shooting.
● It will take awhile to store a video file on a
Memory card.
● You can change the settings of “Manual Focus”
(

● You can change the settings of “White Balance
Adjustment” (

and “Restoring the Default Settings” (
੬ pg. 44).
● ZOOM lever is not operational in Video Mode
while shooting.
● It may not be possible to record properly when
the battery is little left.
