Others
Set the recording action when the memory
capacity for recording has become full. One of the
following two can be selected. (The internal
memory capacity is 8 MB.)
• Stop recording until a free memory space for
recording is created.
• Delete files older than the designated number
of days. (If the number of days is set to “0,” the
files are deleted, starting with the oldest one.)
Select [Refer to Local Rec].
Select the file to save it to the PC.

Recording time
● While maximum recording time varies depending on the recording frame rate and image
size, recording may not be possible for a desired length of time because of other factors such
as the compression rate and the object quality.
Recording files
● A trigger-recording file is created each time a trigger occurs. Even if triggering keeps occur-
ring and recording continues, only one file will be created for each trigger.
Caution
Saving images of local recording to the PC
As local recording images are saved to the VN-C10 volatile memory, the images are deleted if
the power is turned off.
Rec files that were locally recorded can also be automatically uploaded to an FTP server.
(
With recording by [V.Networks Controller], with which images are saved to the PC hard disk
drive, etc., saved files can be retained even if the power is turned off.
For saving local recording images to the PC, follow the procedure below.
By selecting desired items in [Trigger] and also performing necessary settings for [Message], etc. in
[Alarm Setting], you can be certain whether or not local recording has already started. (
Right-click the file to select [Download to
PC].
