Troubleshooting
Symptom Probable cause Solution
Player will not turn on. Dead or weak
batteries. Replace the batteries
AC adapter is not
connected correctly. Make sure that the AC
adapter is connected
correctly.
CD will not play. CD is inserted
incorrectly. Insert the CD with the
label facing up.
CD is defective. Try another CD.
CD door is not closed. Close the door.
Condensation has
formed inside the
player. Remove the CD and
leave the CD door
open for about one
hour to let the
condensation
evaporate.
No sound from
headphones. Headphones are not
connected correctly. Make sure that the
headphone plug is
plugged into the
headphone jack.
Volume is set to
minimum. Increase the volume.
Batteries are weak. Replace the batteries
or use the AC adapter.
CD is defective. Try another CD.
