6.4 Replacing Desk/Full Length Armrest Pad (Fixed
Height Arms Only)
1. Remove the mounting screws that secure the armrest pad to the
armrest assembly.
2. Replace armrest pad and securely tighten with the existing
mounting screws.
6.5 Replacing Clothing Guards (Fixed Height Arms
Only)
1. Remove the four mounting screws that secure the existing clothing
guard to the armrest assembly.
2. Install new clothing guard and securely tighten with the existing

6.6 Converting Between Space Saver and Conventional Arms
1. Remove the arms from the wheelchair. Refer to Removing or Replacing Armrest on page 41.
2. Remove the locknut and hex screw that secure the arm socket to the wheelchair frame.
3. Repeat STEP 2 for the opposite side of the wheelchair.
4. Reposition the arm socket to one of two positions:
A. For conventional arms - position arm socket on outside of frame.
B.
For space saver arms - position arm socket on inside of frame.
