This

chapter

describes

installing

and

configuring

the

storage

agent

LAN-free

function

in

environments

that

are

using

one

or

more

of

the

following:

A

shared

ACSLS,

SCSI,

349X

tape

library.

The

storage

agent

can

connect

to

either

the

library

manager

or

a

library

client.

device

sharing

using

Tivoli

SANergy

or

IBM

TotalStorage

SAN

File

System.

Before

installing

and

configuring

the

storage

agent,

make

sure

you
