4 Press the VOL or VOL button on your remote control to select
the MPAA (movie) rating you want to block. The rating you
selected and all other ratings higher than the rating you selected
are blocked.
You can select:
• N/R–No rating.
• G–General. Appropriate for all children.
• PG–Parental guidance suggested.
• PG13–Parental guidance. Content not appropriate for
children under 13 years of age.
• R–Restricted. Content not appropriate for children under 17
years of age without parental supervision.
• NC-17–Content not appropriate for children under 17 years
of age.
• X–Adults only.
5 Press the VOL or VOL button on your remote control to select
the TVPG (TV program) rating you want to block. The rating you
selected and all other ratings higher than the rating you selected
are blocked.
You can select:
• TY7–All children
• TVY7–Children seven years of age and older
• TV-G–General audiences
• TV-PG–Parental guidance suggested
• TV-14–Parental guidance strongly suggested
• TV-MA–Mature audiences
6 Press the VOL or VOL button on your remote control to select
CONTENT THEMES to block TV programs with certain types of
content.
You can select:
• D–Sexually explicit dialog
• FV–Fantasy violence
• L–Adult language
• S–Sexual situations
• V–Violence
