Tuning the TV
To tune the TV:
1 With the TV on, press the MENU button twice. The TUNING menu
opens.
2 Press the NAVIGATION button to select each of the following
tuning options, then press TV CHANNEL UP or DOWN to change
the setting:
•
CHANNEL—Choose the channel you want to be affected by
the tuning changes.
• TV MODE—Choose from AIR or CABLE.
• FINE TUNE—To fine tune the selected channel’s reception.
• MANUAL TUNE—To tune through the channels manually.
• AUTO SCAN—See “Programming TV channels into memory”
on page 13.
• CHANNEL SWAP—To swap the channels tuned in to different
channel locations.
Watching a DVD
To watch a DVD:
1 Swing the LCD screen down into viewing position and turn the
screen to a convenient viewing angle.
2 Press the POWER button to turn on the player.
3 Press the FUNCTION button one or more times until “DVD”
appears on the display.
4 Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the radio to open the disc
tray.
5 Place the DVD with the label side up into the disc tray, then press
the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray.
6 Press the PLAY/PAUSE/MEM UP button on the radio, or press the
MEM-UP button on the remote to begin playback.
Press the following buttons on the remote control to control DVD
playback.
