If you select TV-Y7, TV-PG, TV-14, or TV-MA, then
press F.FWD/B to select [BLOCK], the selected cat-
egory’s sub-ratings will appear. This indicates each
sub-rating may be individually set to [BLOCK] or
[VIEW]. To set the sub-ratings individually:
● When you select [TV-Y7]:
Press F.FWD/B to select [BLOCK], then press
F.FWD/B again to access the sub-ratings. Press
PLAY/▲ or STOP/▼ to select FV (Fantasy
Violence), then press F.FWD/B to select [BLOCK]
or [VIEW].
● When you select [TV-PG], [TV-14] or
[TV-MA]:
Press F.FWD/B to select [BLOCK], then press
F.FWD/B again to access the sub-ratings.Press
STOP/▼ or PLAY/▲ to select D (Suggestive
Dialog), L (Coarse Language), S (Sexual Situations),
or V (Violence). Then, press F.FWD/B to select
[BLOCK] or [VIEW].

• When you select a rating category
and choose [BLOCK], the higher
rating categories will automatically
be blocked as well. The lower rat-
ing categories will be available for
viewing.
• When you select [VIEW] for
TV-Y, all other ratings will auto-
matically be available for viewing.
• The D rating is not available for
TV-MA.
• Sub-ratings that are set to
[BLOCK] appear next to the rat-
ing category in the TV RATING
menu.
