Upgrading the MCU (Motorola Client Utility)
Application

1. Perform steps 1 through 4 of “Uninstalling the MCU (Motorola Client Utility) Application” on

page 27.

2. In the screen that appear after step 4, check the “Update the previous installation” and click Next.

The MCU is being updated.

3. Restart your computer when requested.

The WDE1000 must be inserted into
your laptop computer before
updating the MCU (Motorola Client
Utility) application (see “Inserting
WDE1000 Into Your Laptop
Computer” on page 11).

You must restart your computer to
complete full update of the MCU.

For upgrading the MCU using “Over
the Air Programming” refer to
“Appendix B - Over the Air
Programming” on page 59.
