Talking and Listening
Read this manual carefully and make sure you know how to properly operate radio
before use. Motorola Talkabout two-way radios have 14 channels. To communicate
with others, all radios in your group must be set to the same Channel (
1
-
14
). Other
FRS radios may have Interference Eliminator Codes, which must be turned Off or set
to
0
for proper communication with T4300 radios.

To maximize clarity, hold radio 2 to 3 inches from mouth.

and speak into the microphone. The outer segments
around the display are visible when transmitting.

Talk Range
Your radio has been designed to maximize performance and improve transmission
range. It is recommended that you do not use the radios closer than 5 feet apart.

Flat, open areas
Medium Range Outdoors
Buildings or trees
Also near residential buildings
Minimal Range Outdoors
Dense foliage or mountains
Also inside some buildings
