9.1.5. Setting up WinFax ® General Properties
when using USB connection
1: You can define program and user setup

3-1: Leave it as “Default”
3-2: Select installed Maxon USB Modem.
3-3: Select the Modem then click the “Properties…” button

4-1: It connects with COM5 or whichever comm USB modem uses.
4-2: You must select “19200” bps
4-3: WinFax
® detects Class 2.0 automatically
NOTE: Under item 3-1 there may be 4 options as below:
1. Cellular (Analog/AMPS)
2. Cellular (PCS/GSM-Digital)
3. Default
4. Dial as entered
Any of these options can be selected and work well. But if possible select “default”.
