Call and phone settings
Security guard
In standby mode, press and hold 0 and select Security guard . You are
required to enter the phone unlock code before opening the option
menu. Please refer to P85
Other settings>Security setting>Phone lock
for detailed information on the phone lock.
Status
Select Status .
On: To turn on Security guard function. In case your phone is lost, the
phone number of the current SIM card will send to the assigned phone
number in short message automatically when the phone is switched on
with a new SIM card.
Off : To turn off Security guard function.
Set phone number
1. Select Send to… .
2. Enter the phone number you want, or press the Scroll key to open
the contact list and select the phone number you want.
Note:
♦ Please ensure the guard phone number is valid and can receive
short message.
♦ If you have assigned the guard phone number, please turn on the
Security guard. Or else your phone will not send the new SIM card
number to the assigned phone number automatically.
