Appendix A

Multi-Brand Remote Setup

You can program your remote
control to operate many
popular brands of televisions,
cable boxes, and digital
satellite systems (DSS).

Turn On TV

Press the power button on your TV.

Program TV Code

Press and hold down the TV button while
entering the 2-digit code for your brand of
television from the list at the right.

Check Your Results

If the TV advances to the next active channel,
programming is complete! If the TV does not
respond, try another 2-digit code. Some TV’s
are not listed but can be programmed.

Program Cable Box/DSS Code

Press and hold down the Cable/DSS button
while entering the 2-digit code for your brand
of Cable Box/DSS from the list on the next
page.

Check Your Results

If the Cable Box/DSS receiver powers on OR
off, programming is complete! If not, try
another 2-digit code. Some devices are not
listed but can be programmed.
