Storing CID Records (In CID Memory)
If you are not at home or cannot answer, your telephone’s Caller ID memory stores
the data for the most recent 40 calls you received so that you can see who called
while you were unavailable. When the 41st call is received, the oldest Caller ID record
(1st call) is automatically deleted.
You may review the stored information at any time. Calls received since your last
review are marked as
NEW in the display. Calls that have not been previously
reviewed but were received from the same number more than once show as
REPT in
the display.
Reviewing Call Records
As calls are received and stored, the display is updated to let you know how many
calls have been received.
• Press the
caller id 9 button (on base) or the CALLER ID-VOLUME 6 button (on
cordless handset) to review the newest call records and scroll to older records.
When you reach the newest call, the display shows
END OF LIST.
• Press the
caller id : button (on base) or the CALLER ID-VOLUME 5 button (on
cordless handset) to review oldest call records and scroll to newer call records.
When you reach the oldest record, the display shows
END OF LIST.
As you review call records, the display shows you the following information for
each call:
• The telephone number of the caller.
• The numeric order of the call.
• The name of the caller, if available in your service area.
NOTE: If a name is received which exceeds 15 characters, the extra
characters are displayed for 3 seconds.
• Time and date the call was received.
•
NEW appears for all calls that have not been reviewed.
NOTE: Check with your local phone company regarding name
service availability.
