Cutting Depth
Cutting depth is controlled by moving the infeed
table up/down in relation to the cutterhead and
outfeed table. The infeed table can be controlled
by turning the adjustment knob beneath the
infeed table. To adjust the cutting depth:
1.
Place a straightedge evenly on the surface
of the outfeed table so the straightedge
extends over the cutterhead and across the
infeed table as shown in
Figure 6
.
2.
Measure the distance from the infeed table
to the bottom of the straightedge as shown in
Figure 7
. This measurement will be the
depth of cut.
3.
Adjust the infeed table to the desired depth
of cut. The maximum depth of cut for this
machine is
5
⁄
64
". However, we recommend
cutting at
1
⁄
16
" depths for increased safety.
SECTION 5: ADJUSTMENTS
Keep loose clothing out
of the way of machinery
and keep hair pulled
back.
Wear safety glasses dur-
ing the entire adjustment
process. Failure to com-
ply may result in serious
personal injury.
Disconnect power to the
machine when perform-
ing any adjustments or
maintenance. Failure to
do this may result in seri-
ous personal injury.
Do not exceed a cutting depth of
5
⁄
64
". Failure
to follow this caution will seriously increase
the risk of kickback and possible injury!
