Attach the Filler Panels to the Case
Attach filler panels to the existing holes in the case
using eight #8 x 3/8 ″ long hex head screws.
Remove the Air Conditioner from the Case
Remove the air filter. Lift the top of the filter
and gently pull it up.
Remove the 2 screws and lift off the front grille.
Keep these screws to re-attach the grille later.
Remove one screw from each side of the case.
Keep these ground/anti-theft screws so they
may be replaced at the end of the installation.
Slide the air conditioner out of the case by
grasping the rear of the evaporator cover and
pulling forward while bracing the case.
NOTE: The air conditioner is very heavy. It may
require two or more people to remove it from
the case.
