Why a Manual Insert?

We have improved the design of the eye shield
mount on the Model G0596/G0597/G0598/G0599
Bench Grinder. This new design and setup will
offer a more solid hold with less vibration.

This insert is intended to be used WITH the
Model G0596/G0597/G0598/G0599 manual, not
as a replacement for it. Before operating your
new machine, you MUST read and understand
the entire Model G0596/G0597/G0598/G0599
manual.

To assemble eye shield mount:

1. Screw the mount to the wheel guard (part #3

& 4) with the screws provided (part #30).

2. Slide the arm into the pivot support and orient

the flat part of the arm as shown in

Figure 2.

The tang of the arm should now be vertical.

3. Tighten the knob on the round part of the

arm.

4. Attach the eye shield assembly (part #12) to

the arm.

5. Adjust the length and angle of the arm as

needed.
