Q: Do I have to worry about full charges and discharges because of the battery
memory effect?
A: No. Unlike Ni-Cads, Li-Ion do not require special charging system be maintained.
However to maximise performance and battery life, refer to the section on
“Guidelines for Lithium Batteries”
Q: I was in the middle of screwdriving when the tool just stopped. I tried again and it
worked for a bit and stopped again. What is the problem?
A: The tool has an overload system protecting the cells and the motor from overloads.
Releasing the trigger resets this.
Q: Should I leave the tool fully charged when storing for long periods?
A: Li-Ion actually prefer to be only partially charged for extended storage.
Q: What are some other tips to maximise my run time?
A: Always keep the revs up and avoid labouring the motor – Select the right torque
setting – Use good quality screwdriver bits and sharp drill bits - Follow the Li-Ion
