Electronic
Monitoring
Each battery pack contains an electronic control circuit
that constantly monitors critical conditions of the battery
cells. This system will ensure the battery pack operate in
safe working specifications and dramatically extend the life
and performance of the cells and the tool
Over-Charge
Protection
This will automatically switch off the electronic charging
system to prevent overcharging of the cells
Over-Temperature
Protection
An Integrated temperature sensor prevents the
overheating of the cells and switches them off and thus
extending the life of the cells. Power will automatically
resume when the temperature returns to a safe level
Over-Discharge
Protection
It is just as important to not over discharge a Lithium Ion
batter cell as it is to over-charge them. This system will
switch off the battery pack at a predetermined safe level
similarly like a mobile phone or video camera for example
Overload
Protection
An excess in current through the cells can damage them
and/or shorten their life as well as other key components
such as the motor and switch. When the tool senses it is
being overloaded it will automatically switch itself off.
Releasing the variable speed trigger will reset the system
The results of these electronic protection systems above will ensure the
extended life and performance of the battery pack.
