LD108V – Lithium Driver
Lithium-ion (Li-Ion) batteries feature long shelf life similar to non rechargeable alkaline
batteries and have similar lower current capacity. Both NiCad's and Nickel Metal
Hydride batteries loose charge due to poor shelf life properties. This is at a self-
discharge rate of approximately 20- 30% per month and more.
Li-Ion batteries also have approximately 3 times
the capacity of Ni-Cad batteries and hence
their compact size/voltage
Because of all the benefits of Li-Ion battery cell
Technology and output from a compact cell,
Li-Ion cells are being used in an ever increasing
