8.0 Additional information
8.1 Using the Tether
1. Check that tether is
securely attached to
car seat.
2. Fasten tether clip to
anchor point Ì .
3. Tighten the tether
strap securely Í .
4. Check car seat tightness
after securing tether.
If necessary, retighten
vehicle seat belt when
used with the built-in
harness.
5. To loosen, lift up on
the metal tongue of
the buckle Î .
All LATCH seating positions have tether anchors. If you
want to use the tether, check your vehicle owner’s
manual for the location(s). If your vehicle is not
equipped with a tether anchor, it may be possible
to install one. Contact your vehicle dealership for the
proper anchor location and installation. You may
purchase a tether anchor parts kit by calling Graco
Customer Service at 1-800-345-4109.
