• Position the steering column
retainer so that the hooked tabs
are upright and the groove is
facing you.
• Fit the steering column retainer
behind the steering column,
as shown.
• Fit the groove in the steering column retainer to the steering column.
• Insert and
“snap” the three tabs on the steering column retainer into
the slots in the steering linkage.
• Make sure all three tabs on the steering column retainer are in the
slots in the steering linkage.

• Turn the vehicle upright.
• Pull the handlebar up to be sure the steering column is secure.
• If you can remove the steering column, you have not assembled
the steering column retainer correctly. Please refer back to Assembly
step 3.

• Plug the handlebar connector into the motor connector.
