Linear grinding of square and flat materials or profiles is
incredibly easy with the unique GIL surface grinding module
as well as conversion from belt to surface grinding. The
GIL module accommodates standard size belts on the basic
grinder and is patent pending.
Perfect finishes on steel and non-ferrous metals can be
achieved without compromising surface qualities. Even the
difficulties of stainless steel finishing are easily overcome with
the GIL surface grinding module.
Smart solution: Thanks to the optional GIL swivel joint
(part # 6 99 02 176 00 0) and the modular machine concept,
confined spaces are no longer a problem when surfacing longer
material. The infinitely variable swivel range is 0 to 90 degrees.
