• Fit the steering wheel cap into the center of the steering wheel.
Make sure the screw holes are aligned.
• Insert two #8 x 1" screws into the steering wheel cap and tighten.
• Position the vehicle on its side.
• Fit a 3 /
8
" lock nut onto the end of the steering column.
• While supporting the steering column tighten the lock nut with
the assembly tool.
• Turn the vehicle upright.

BOTTOM VIEW
• Using safety scissors, separate the activity panel and the instru-
ment panel. Dispose of the plastic connector.
• Insert and "snap" the base of the shifter into the activity panel.

• Fit the tabs on the bottom of the instrument panel into the notch-
es in the dash opening to the left side of the steering wheel.
• Press near the top of the instrument panel to "snap" in place.
