Troubleshooting
If you encounter problems during calibration, please refer to the following
troubleshooting tips to try to solve the problems by yourself. If the problem persists,
please contact BenQ Customer Support for help.
Problem
Solution
Cannot connect to
the display(s)
Check the following:
• Check the cable connection. Is the display correctly
connected to the computer?
• Check if the RS232 cable can be detected in Win "Device
Manager". If not, install the driver for RS232 cable.
• Is the display turned on?
• Is the COM port setting in Settings?
Calibration
incomplete
Check the display's ID setting. When calibrating multiple
displays, each display must be given an unique ID for the
Color Calibration to identify correctly.
Error or fail message
appears
Please identify the following items
• Identify correct connection between color meter and PC
• Never connect multiple color meters simultaneously
