STARTING THE I36 IMAGEMASTER
Plotter
To start the plotter, press the main power (I/O) Switch (see Figure 1 (2)). The plotter
will go through the startup sequence, beginning with the warmup phase, which
brings the unit to it’s operating temperature.
NOTE: During the warming phase, “Status: Warning XX” will appear in the LCD
display, indicating the approximate minutes remaining in the warming cycle.
PC/RIP
The PC/RIP will initialize (boot up) when the plotter power is turned on. Initializing
takes approximately 2-3 minutes, and occurs while the plotter is “warming”. The four
LEDs on the front panel of the PC/RIP indicate the status of the PC/RIP (see
Figure 16).
Green LED - Power
Red LED - Rip Processing
Green LED - PC/RIP initialized and ready
Yellow LED - Data transmission
