INSTALLATION

NOTE: Refer to Fig. 1 for installation.

1.

Install seat gasket (504) into valve body
(306).

2.

Install cage liner (505), seat/liner gasket
(506), seat (503) and body gasket (305) into
valve body (306).

3.

Install plug seal and backup ring (507) into
seat (503). The plug seal and backup ring
(507) consist of 3 pieces. The think metal

lubricant to prevent damaging the seal
during installation.

4.

Slide the valve plug (502) into the valve seat
(503) slowly to not damage the plug seal and
backup ring (507).

5.

Install the seal load ring (508).

6.

Complete the bonnet (302) installation as
stated in the valve IOM.

MAINTENANCE

1.

During routine maintenance the plug seal
and backup ring (507) need to be inspected
for wear and replaced as needed.

2.

The valve IOM should be followed for all
operating and maintenance procedures.

CAUTION!

All warnings from valve IOM must be followed.
