This indicator is in the fuel gauge. It
comes on as a reminder that you
must refuel soon. When the indicator
comes on, there is about 1.2 U.S. gal
(4.5 ) of fuel remaining in the tank
before the needle reaches E. There
is a small reserve of fuel remaining
in the tank when the needle does
reach E.
This indicator comes on briefly when
you turn the ignition switch to the
ON (II) position. It will then go off if
you have inserted a properly-coded
ignition key. If it is not a properly-
coded key, the indicator will blink,
and the engine’s fuel system will be
disabled. (see page ).
This indicator comes on when you
turn on the fog lights. See page
for information on fog light
operation.
You will also see a ‘‘FUEL LOW’’
message on the multi-information
display (see page ).
This indicator also blinks several
times when you turn the ignition
switch from the ON (II) position to
the ACCESSORY (I) or LOCK (0)
position.
