When you set up the export connector, be sure to save the proper login credentials.
Running Multiple Export Instances Requires IBM FileNet Image Services
Setting
Because you can run multiple instances of Kofax Export Connector for IBM FileNet Image
Services, concurrent logins to IBM FileNet Image Services are required.
Do the following to increase the number of concurrent logins:
1 Open the FileNet Security Administration utility.
2 Select System, and then click Default Security Settings.
The Update Default Security Settings window appears.
3 In the “Maximum concurrent logons per user [1-10000]:” field, increase the value to the
number of running export instances. For example, if you are concurrently running three
export instances per workstation, and you have five workstations, enter 15.
Performance with Multiple Instances
This version of the export connector offers significant performance improvements,
including the ability to process more transactions per instance. In some environments, these
improvements could potentially overload the IBM FileNet Image Services repository as
batches are exported, and result in lower overall throughput. In this scenario, you can resolve
the issue by reducing the number of instances of the export connector per workstation, or by
tuning the IBM FileNet Image Services repository. (283430)
