Packing and Shipping the Machine
Whenever you transport the machine, use the packing materials that came with the machine. Failure
to pack the machine correctly may damage the machine and such damages will not be covered under
warranty.

Make sure you close the paper tray and the extension.

Remove the line cord and unplug the machine from the AC outlet.

Open the top cover.

Remove the drum unit assembly.

Place the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly into the plastic bag and seal the bag
completely.

Close the top cover. Remove the document and paper supports and pack them.
Remove the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly. Leave the toner
cartridge installed in the drum unit.
