Turn on the power of the notebook.

Insert the L-shaped plug of the supplied VAIO
notebook peripheral cable (80 cm) into the matching
connector on the rear of the drive, and secure the plug
with the screw.
Turn the screw until it is fully fastened.

Insert the straight-shaped plug of the supplied VAIO
notebook peripheral cable (80 cm) into the i.LINK
connector on the notebook and into the VAIO
notebook peripheral device DC OUT connector.
The green POWER indicator of the drive lights up, and the
drive is detected and identified by the notebook.

When connecting this drive to your notebook for the first time, it takes a
moment for the drive to be detected.
