Direct Audio Output
The AUDIO OUTPUT socket allows
you to connect the XL-30 to a
hearing aid, neck loop, cochlear
implant or other assistive listening
devices.
To use this port, plug in a
compatible auxiliary cable and
connect it to your assistive
listening device. Speak into the
handset when you use the Audio
Output connection.
Outgoing Voice Amplification
The XL-30 can amplify your
outgoing voice by up to 15 dB. To
use this feature, set the outgoing
voice amplifier switch to AMPLIFY
(underneath the unit). Note: Even
with the AMPLIFY switch ON, the
voice of your callers can still be
amplified by up to 15dB.
Note: The factory pre-setting is
NORMAL.
Cochlear Implant Adapter Cord
A cochlear adapter cord is
available from Ameriphone that
can be used to directly connect
