Alliance-pro Wall Mount Installation
A. The Alliance Wall Mount is designed for installation indoors or outdoors. Begin by
disassembling the Wall Mount into 3 pieces (See Figure 4.1):
a. Remove Adapter Box from inside the Wall Arm by removing the (4) screws.
b. Remove Back Box from Wall Mount by removing the (4) screws.
B. Mounting the Back Box to a masonry or other durable wall surface:
a.
Follow common mounting practices required to safely mount the Alliance Wall
Mount to the intended surface.
b.
Pull any cabling from the wall side through the Back Box and mount the Back
Box to the wall surface using the supplied or equivalent hardw are.
3 Description
IQA-WM2 Alliance-pro Wall Mount Kit
The Alliance Wall Mount allows indoor or outdoor installation of an
Alliance-pro dome camera on a wall surface and allows the dome
to be oriented toward the ground. The Alliance Wall Mount will work
with both the indoor and outdoor versions of the Alliance-pro dome
camera. The included Adapter Box (Figure 3.1) allows the Alliance-
pro to be properly mounted into the Wall Mount Kit. The Adapter
Box replaces the mounting plate used for indoor installations (NI)
or the Back Box used for outdoor installations (NE or NX models).
If the Alliance-pro cameras kit you purchased includes an indoor
mounting plate or outdoor Back Box, you will not need this plate/box
for installation.
IQM-WM2 Alliance-mx Wall Mount Kit
The Alliance Wall Mount allows indoor or outdoor installation of an Alliance-mx dome
camera on a wall surface and allows the dome to be oriented toward the ground.
4 Installation
NOTE: This manual describes how to install the Alliance-pro Wall Mount (with Adapter Box) and
the Alliance-mx Wall Mount products, and details wall mounting options. Installations should be
performed by qualified service personnel only in accordance with local, state and national code(s).
