6. do not mount the detector:
• on or near metal surfaces!
• closer than 1 m to gas, water and power lines!
• in the vicinity of electrical devices such as computers, copiers
or other transmitting devices!
7. location of installation:
The optimum installation site for the wireless opening detector is on
the upper corner of your window/door frame. Make sure that you install
the detector on a flat surface so that the tamper switch (anti-removal
wall contact) operates reliably.
the wireless opening detector is normally mounted on the window
frame, and the magnetic holder on the window sash. the magnet
holder and the detector base can be secured with the attached
adhesive film without using screws. however, we recommend that
screws be used (on plastic surfaces pre-drilling is not required).
always check the thickness of the window sash before screwing in to
avoid the screws emerging on the opposite side. If necessary, trim
screws.
