Changing to a New Network
When not in your home country/region, the user may use a network that is
not directly subscribed to. This is called ROAMING. Legal restrictions may not
permit roaming in your home region.
The New Network function is used to manually select a network that is avail-
able in your current location.
1 From Idle press
<
, select (Applications
>) Phone Setting > Network >
New Network. Press
<
2 Your phone will search for available net-
works
3 Use 4 to select one from the list of avail-
able networks. Press
<
When the Search Mode is set to Automatic
the phone will automatically reselect a new net-
work in order to maintain optimum network
availability. With the Search Mode set to Man-
ual the phone will only use a selected network.
If coverage is lost another network should be
selected.
