CD/DVD Changer Mode
POWER
Turn your car’s ignition switch to ACC or ON position, and
then press the control unit’s power key to turn on the con-
trol unit and the DVD changer.
Press [POWER] to turn on the monitor display as well when
you watch the DVD software.
As for power on/off, please refer to the operating instruc-
tions of each unit.
Note: The remote control of the DVD changer has no power
key. Use the power key on the control unit or the
remote control for the control unit instead.
CD/DVD Changer Mode
(Source selection)
Press [SRC] (Source)/[POWER] to change to CD/DVD
changer mode and playback starts.
(Example: CQ-C9901U, CQ-VD7001U etc.)
Note: If you have not changed to the CD/DVD changer
mode, you cannot listen to the sound of DVD changer
when you press the [5] (PLAY) key on the DVD
changer’s remote control.
Disc Selection
(Example: CQ-C9901U, CQ-VD7001U etc.)
[}] or [8]: Next disc
[{] or [0]: Previous disc
[DISC }] : Next disc
[DISC {] : Previous disc
Volume
Turn your control unit volume knob or press volume keys.
(Example: CQ-C9901U, CQ-VD7001U etc.)
[}] (Volume): Up
or [{] (Volume): Down
Play
Press [5] (PLAY) to start playback or resume from Pause or
Stop.
Note:
¡Because playback will not start automatically when your
DVD changer is working alone, press [5] (PLAY) to start
playback.
¡Some control units do not have the “Play” function.

This unit has 7 types OSDs. The following operations allows you to change among OSDs.

Prohibition
Input is not possible because a soundtrack, subtitle lan-
guage or angle number which was not recorded on the disc
has been selected or because the user has attempted to per-
