Connectivity
Before you start
To communicate with another Bluetooth device,
you first need to turn Bluetooth on. You then need
to add the device to the list of devices in your
phone. You can exchange items, use a remote
screen and play games without adding the device
to the list. To synchronize with your computer
and browse the Internet, you also need to install
software on your computer from the CD that comes
with your phone, or download it from

If the device you are adding to your phone has
its own passcode, enter this passcode in your
phone. If not, create a passcode of digits
yourself and enter it in both devices.

We recommend that your phone and the Bluetooth
device you are communicating with are within a range
of 10 metres. The connection may be improved if there
are no solid objects between your phone and the other
Bluetooth device.
Please check if local laws or regulations restrict the
use of Bluetooth. If Bluetooth is not allowed, you must
ensure that the Bluetooth function is turned off. The
maximum allowed Bluetooth radio output power in the
phone is automatically adjusted according to possible
local restrictions. This means that the range may vary.
