When the phone rings:
• Press (TALK/FLASH) (or any
button except (OFF)).
or
• Pick up the handset from the
base phone when the handset is
placed on the base phone.
The TALK lamp and the IN USE
lamp on the base phone light up at
the same time.

When you are done talking, press
(OFF) or replace the handset on the
base phone.
The TALK and IN USE lamps go
off.

Put a call on hold
Switch to another call
(“call waiting” service*)
Adjust the ringer volume of
the base phone
Do this
Press (HOLD).
Press (TALK/FLASH) to resume the conversation.
Press (TALK/FLASH) to access the flash function.
Press (TALK/FLASH) again to return to the first caller.

Receiving calls through the speakerphone
When the phone rings, press
(SPEAKERPHONE) on the base phone.
The SPEAKERPHONE lamp lights up.
”- -” lights up on the display.
To adjust the speaker volume, press
(VOLUME +/–).
When you are done talking, press
(SPEAKERPHONE) again.
