Slide open the battery compartment lid of the
handset.

Preparing the battery pack
Insert the battery pack into the handset, then place the handset on the
base phone.

Insert the battery pack (with contacts facing
down) into the battery compartment.

Close the battery compartment lid.

Place the handset on the base phone.
The CHARGE lamp lights up when the
handset is properly seated on the charge
terminals of the base phone. Charge the
battery pack for more than 8 hours so that the
battery is fully charged.
