Action
Is the power cable connected to the 
power socket? 
Connect the power cable to the power socket.
The AVeL Link Player does 
not power up. 
Is the power cable connected to the 
AVeL Link Player? 
Confirm that the power cable is connected to the AVeL Link Player.
Aren't the batteries in the remote 
controller low? 
Replace them with new batteries.
Are the batteries connected in the 
correct polarities (positive, negative)? 
Set the batteries correctly.
The remote controller does not 
work. 
Is the remote controller facing the AVeL 
Link Player? 
Operate the remote controller by orienting it toward the 
remote-controller light-receiving part on the AVeL Link Player 
(located at the front center of the AVeL Link Player). 
No screen is displayed.
Video Output is set to a mode not 
matching the connected TV or monitor.
[1] Press the TV MODE button on the remote controller several
times until the screen is displayed.
[2] Set Video Output to match the output of the connected TV or
monitor by referring to "Options" (p.71).
AVeL Link Server has not been started. Check if the computer is on and AVeL Link Server is running.
The network is not set up correctly.
For detail check procedures and actions to be taken, refer to "When 
the AVeL Link Player Cannot Connect to a Server (Computer)" 
(p.55). 
The server icon is not 
displayed in the AVeL Link 
Player menu. 
Isn't the hub or router hindering proper 
network connection? 
Connect the AVeL Link Player to the computer directly using a 
cross cable and then check if the problem persists. 
(If the AVeL Link Player is connected to the computer directly, the 
IP addresses of the AVeL Link Player and computer must be 
manually entered.) 
The USB equipment is not 
recognized. 
The login screen does not 
respond. 
The power to the AVeL Link Player was 
turned on with the USB equipment 
connected. 
Turn on the power to the AVeL Link Player first, and then turn on 
the power to the USB equipment. 
The message "Cannot connect 
to the specified server" or 
"Log in to AVeL Link later" is 
displayed, and files in the 
server (computer) are not 
shown. 
The network is not set up correctly.

The hard disk storing the specified 
Watch Folder or Library Folder has 
been removed. 
Install the hard disk again, or do not specify the Watch Folder or 
Library Folder in the hard disk you want to remove. 
AVeL Link Server is running, 
but the AVeL Link Player 
does not respond. 
The specified folder contains too many 
files. 
Reduce the number of files and then check if the problem persists.
